500 Words and the Fediverse
i, Lee Schneider here. I'm going to be posting my newsletter on Bluesky, using the offprint.app.
500 Words has been around since the early days of The Huffington Post, when I wrote a regular column called 500 Words on Thursday. It was an essay that I published every Thursday. I didn't work too hard on that title! But the essays were popular.
500 Words here on offprint and Bluesky will feature email-sized mini-stories that roll out week-to-week. I'll be posting one of my original mini-story series, The Counter Narrative, which was a father's message to his children, inspired by a series of Polaroid photographs that were discovered in a trunk.
But coming in September, get ready for a mini-story series called HOLLYWOOD EXTINCTION EVENT. It unravels the mystery of how Hollywood destroyed itself from the inside. It is told by an insider who saw and recorded everything.
I'll also include announcements about new publications and events.
