Nationwide Cancer Decline Sparks Hope

For the first time in eighty years, new incidences of cancer are at their lowest, while recoveries are at an all-time high.

For the first time since the war ended eighty years ago, the rate of diagnosed cancer has had its first statistically significant reduction. Alongside this, the recovery rates for those diagnosed with cancer are at an all-time high, and continuing to climb, marking the beginning of an era of hope that the war might finally become little more than a distant memory.

When dragons first entered our world through the Fae breaches, we initially didn't know what they were capable of. It quickly became apparent that their ability to breathe fire hinged on whether they had consumed anything flammable recently, and when our standard weaponry of gunpowder-based munitions proved ineffective, the heavy decision was made by leaders of the time to turn our nuclear armaments on these behemoths of the sky. They had no way of knowing the devastating effects this would have on future generations, and sadly, we have felt the impact of this choice ever since.
