On Using Blento

have been using Free-For-Teachers Canvas account for all my classes. Why Canvas? I do not like using Google Classroom, that's why. Anyway, thanks to the [ransomware attack](https://canvas.instructure.com), access to my Canvas classes are no longer available (hope that it is only temporary).

Since the semester is almost over, I decided to create a quick web site where my students can keep updated on the latest announcements, instead of moving to another LMS. I thought choosing [Blento](https://blento.app) to be that site is a no-brainer. It is a quick and easy to use, and since I only have text to post, it's perfect. And oh, it is also based on atproto (like this one), which allowed me to store the data to my own self-hosted personal data store (PDS). Neat, huh?
