Using AI has a  side effect

If you are fond of using "AI" tools, especially generative AI, then you might want to take a short break and read this Nature paper, "Is AI ruining our skills? Early results are in — and they’re not good". This is why I always tell my Computer Science undergraduate students to be very careful as they are just starting on their careers, when they need to learn everything that they could to improve their skills. I tell them not to give in to the temptation. Luckily, majority of them who prefer to learn on their own, rather be spoon-fed by these generative AI models.
