• Siren's house is a multi-lingual household with Nix and Siren switching between Japanese & English a lot (with a bias towards Japanese)
  1. Nix & Siren would drop into an American accent for some words. Idk how to describe this outside of that one clip of Toby Fox saying "Touhou Project". Nix does this more often than Siren
  2. Eiri would know English (likely both college and immersion from living with Nix & Siren), but isn't at a conversational level and prefers to stick to Japanese
• Eiri would likely be the best cook out of all three of them. Siren would know enough to get by. Nix can't be bothered to cook most of the time & opts for takeout when it's his turn to handle dinner.
• While he tries his hardest to bury his past, Eiri's creative background still comes out. He's the first to point out when a composition or color scheme is off, as well as complain about people misinterpreting works
  1. We don't know much about his artist days, but I imagine he left due to apathy towards the state of the gallery world
  2. I imagine he would've done abstract-geometric paintings inspired by vehicles
• Nix would be a car guy, well, if he could afford cars.
• On their IIDX abilities:
  1. Nix plays 2P and would be SP 十段 / 10 Dan minimum. He could push for SP kaiden if he wanted to, but doesn't feel the motivation to go for it. His playstyle is either "Dolce" or 1048
  2. Siren plays more casually, but I'd imagine he'd be around the 七段 / 八段 (7dan/8dan) mark. He does however, like casual competition between friends. His playstyle would be "TAKA.S"(fun fact; that's my playstyle!)
  3. Eiri's the most competitive & try-hard out of the three, though he's at a lower-level (五段 / 5dan or lower). His playstyle would be either 1048 or 3/5 Thumbslide
• On Siren working as Himmel's butler, I don't think it's realistic for him to have 3 intensive jobs at the same time. The timeline I imagine is:
  1. Started pursuing an acting career
  2. Took on smaller acting jobs in Japan, and an English teacher job to cover extra expenses
  3. Acting job fell through, which led to him taking on a job as Himmel's butler
  4. I'm not sure if Heroic Verse is part of the main timeline, or is just an AU. But if it's part of the main timeline it'd probably be years later & by then he'd be her butler full time
• Siren has some envy towards Hollywood actors due to not being able to work there
  1. In terms of movies I can see him playing roles in, either action films or dramas.
• On brainrot:
• If they were animals, Nix would be a fluffy Maine coon, Siren would be a Lion, and Eiri would be a Shiba

AKA: I introduce the ATmosphere to NixEiri mutual pinning.

Just a note; I don't take shipping too seriously so these are flexible & whether or not I ship them (or how I ship them) can change depending on AU or how I feel that day. Sometimes they're just roommates.

When I do ship these two however, it's usually mutual pinning.

For a run down:

• On Eiri's end, he slowly realizes he has a crush on Nix, but is in denial about it. He's both too closeted and too prideful to confess
  1. I imagine him fully coming to terms with the crush would shatter his perception of his sexuality & make him pin Nix even more.
• On Nix's end, the question of if he's queer doesn't cross his mind. He's convinced himself he's not someone worth pursuing, nor has the energy to pursue anyone else
  1. The latter is canon; Nix canonically has a crush on Erika but doesn't make any moves. Given it's just in the realm of a crush I think this can coexist in this mutual pinning HC
• As their roommate, Siren is seeing this go down & has a suspicion they're pinning eachother. Neither of them will say anything, so he's left wondering if either of them will get over themselves and confess
  1. btw this isn't like a "he's pressuring them to do it" way, more an 'observer from the sidelines' way

Other Trope / fic Ideas

• Valentines day, where they agree on a hangout. Eiri is meaning to confess to Nix, but distractions get in the way, leading to him not doing so. Later that evening, Nix gives him a gift with no words. I imagine there'd be a white day follow-up, but I'm blank on ideas for that
• Hanahaki AU - I won't say much because I am thinking about writing this one as a one-shot. The only spoiler I'll leave is rest assured, they both live
