38 Most Influential Posters of 2026

bsky38.com is a community-voted list of the 38 most influential Bluesky posters of 2026, made with Bailey Townsend (@pds.dad). Anyone with a Bluesky account can vote for up to ten people, and the 38 with the most votes make the list. It isn't run by Bluesky, but Bluesky did come on to collaborate with us after the project has such immediate viral success. Every ballot is a record written to the voter's own account on the AT Protocol.

Within the first 24 hours of launch, over 50,000 people had visited the project, 10,000 people had voted, and it was the #1 trend on Bluesky that day.

A week before we began the project, I had made a viral social media post about a Rolling Stones article that ranked the internet's top creators. My friend Bailey asked whether I wanted to build a Bluesky version of it with him. The number comes from a running joke on Bluesky, where the canonical age of any given user is 38.
