Notes and links from 3 Oct
Went to visit my sister briefly today on the scooter, thus normalising the whole “going out on the scooter” thing, and when I returned Fiona informed me that Lav had been furiously digging out Wally’s flop-hole and diligently spreading the soil across the lawn. We let her continue until she seemed done and then brushed it all back in. Happy to say the soil down there looks pretty healthy, as you’d hope having been pooped on my multiple rabbits for over a decade. In other news I had a look at Hugo, one of the static website generators, and it looks like it might be at just the level I need. Gonna have a deeper dive this weekend I reckon.

- Cloudbusting - An interview with Ingrid Burrington on the new edition of Networks of New York — I had the first edition of this in 2016 and loved how it attempted to make the internet tangible in the city. My copy of v2 is currently somewhere in the Atlantic — looking forward to seeing it!
- Why Jewish Greens are urging party members to vote against the motion: Zionism is racism — "Calling all forms or interpretations of Zionism ‘racism’ is painting a very diverse group of people with a very broad brush and in effect, it accepts the most extreme right-wing version of Zionism (aka – Kahanism) peddled by the far right as definitive. This is like accepting the EDL’s definition of Englishness. Or like banning all forms of USA nationalism based on the horrendous crimes of the Trump administration."
