elcome to my blog!

I’ve been thinking about starting my own blog for a long time, but I kept putting it off. After spending way too much time setting it up and fine-tuning it, it’s finally time to get started!

Although I’m talkative in real life, I’ve always been pretty brief online. I preferred to post my photos accompanied by short descriptions. Still, I feel the need to share more of myself with you. That’s why I started this blog.

I don’t have a grand plan for my blog yet, so I’m not exactly sure what I’ll be writing about. What is clear, though, is that photography and culture will play an important role.
Since I’m a big advocate of using bicycles as a mode of transportation, bike-related topics will come up regularly. I’m also interested in technology, open-source software, and the open internet. European alternatives to products and services on which we’ve become increasingly dependent also pique my interest.
I’m not a software developer, so don’t worry—my blog posts won’t get too technical.

A key reason for starting this blog is that I enjoy having my own space where I can share my photos, observations, and thoughts with you, without being constrained by the limitations of a social media platform.

Instead of telling you exactly what my blog will be about, I’m just going to start writing and see where it takes me.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post!
