A New Pattern & Pattern Language Garden
riginally for this week for leaflet's "weekly summer pub club", I planned on expanding the pattern language I proposed in last week's post with five more patterns. But I didn't get to write as much as I would've liked.
To still have something to publish, I decided on doing only one new pattern, but also create a digital garden for the pattern language, where I can more easily add new ones as well as stubs for future ones.
Even when limiting myself to a single new pattern, I made the mistake of initially trying to write one for "Uncertainty." This proved to be out of any reasonable scope almost immediately, as did "Rumors" and "Hooks", albeit to a lesser degree.
So, in the end, the new pattern for this week became NPC Quotes.
