standard.horse is neat but markdown still sucks

And it's not letting me use HTML

May 29, 20261 min read1 read

Using a markdown editor is super annoying as * means 3 different things. bold and it's overriding regular HTML tags.

there's tag autocomplete

but the preview is not rendering the HTML

The point of markdown was shortcuts for some html tags that made sense as ascii plaintext, but letting through other HTML tags as well. Whatever this is doing is wrong.
