Blogging: Is it really for everyone
any of us are simple people. We don't really take up the pen unless we have to. For some of us, this means that we're trying to write more than what microblogging has to say for us. And that's fine.
The question we must ask is... why do it in the first place?
For me, that answer is this - to preserve our sense of creativity.
Blogs are a great place to tell stories, to expand thoughts posted on certain butterfly or dead bird sites into articles, to share something you can't in few words. We don't have to do it all the time, unless we're running a newspaper.
A blog is also a good place to invent silly nonce words to mean things that take up a lot of words.
And not every blog has to be powered by Substack or WordPress. The latter is sort of overused as a CMS. There are neater softwares for such.
I dunno. I guess I'm just throwing words on a screen.
