yan @snarfed.org and Anuj @quillmatiq.com from A New Social are leading a Train Jam up the west coast to the conference! We'll talk and hack ATProto stuff, check out the amazing scenery, and otherwise enjoy traveling on a weapon conveyance from a more civilized age. Join us!
We're taking the Amtrak Coast Starlight to Seattle, arriving King Street Station Thurs 3/26 7:51p. Ryan and Chris @chrismessina.me will board in Emeryville Wed evening. Feel free to join us anywhere along the line.
Coast Starlight
The Amtrak Coast Starlight train transports you in comfort from Seattle to Los Angeles. See unsurpassed scenery like snow-capped Cascades, city life and more.
Then, Anuj will join us in Seattle, and we'll take the Amtrak Cascades to Vancouver. It departs Fri 3/27 8:30a from King Street Station, and arrives in Vancouver at 12:30p.
Amtrak Cascades
The Amtrak Cascades train runs from Vancouver through Washington and Oregon to help you witness the Northwest’s beautiful cities and natural attractions.
We're only taking the train one way, to Vancouver, but you're obviously welcome to do a round trip if you want. You can buy tickets on amtrak.com. Jump into the Roomy space and tell us if you're coming!
We also happened to see that @teonbrooks.com is taking the train from Chicago! Very cool to see.
