Let’s walk through the Quiet Forest – Music Monday – November 2, 2026

Now that Halloween is over and we're not quite in the winter season yet, let's talk about a nice, cozy song that reminds me of leaves falling!

alloween has come and gone, and all of a sudden it turned into hoodie weather. I wanted to look and find a song for Music Monday that would fit that cozy, hoodie weather aesthetic. I decided to start looking through playlists and songs that I know that would fit. I typed in “Autumn Video Game Music” into YouTube and one of the first playlists had a picture of Kirby with a fall background. As soon as I saw that, I knew what my Music Monday was going to be, Quiet Forest from Kirby 64.

Kirby 64 was such a fun game. Fun Fact: It was also the second game I ever let’s played on my YouTube channel!

This song has a whimsy that just feels like fall. The level itself is set in a forest with orange and red leaves and on occasion you’ll see leaves fall. Not to mention you’ll also walk into a giant tree and see all the leaves and such in there too.

The music is this almost ethereal music combining bells and flutes and marimbas that just lilts a melody that personifies the falling of leaves. There’s also an almost haunting addition of vocals to strengthen the bridge part of the song as well.

I’m honestly surprised this soundtrack isn’t on Nintendo Music yet. This would be perfect on that Autumn Playlist that Nintendo Music puts out with songs that signify the season.

Do you have a favorite video game music that signifies Autumn? Let me know in the comments or in our Discord!
