Mocha Magic

here is nothing more exhilarating than to enjoy my first cup of Mocha in Mexico in from of the Santo Domino Cathedral located in Oaxaca de Juarez, Mexico. For $90 Pesos ( $4.93 in U.S dollars) I sat across from the cathedral in a small café contemplating the fact that is took me twenty-four years to return to my hometown. I sat there for the next three hours chatting with my nephew about highs & lows of life. Every few minutes I would look at the cathedral with utter disbelief that I finally made it home. When I initially took this photo, I was simply attempting to be an armature photographer. Now that I am back in the U.S, I look at it with a type of fondness that is hard to describe. It’s a reminder of a new chapter in my healing story.
