Elements: Overlapping markers + mark making.
Made during classtime in duration of a day or two in 2023, senior year highschool.
- drew on bigass scrap photopaper that teacher gave
- always liked drawing faces & letting mind flow, abstraction easy tbh
- although as of writing this (2026 Oct)... wanting to grow beyond just faces + bodies in abstract space.
- larger toolset of techniques i have = stronger art i can make
- enjoyed making sharp vibrating colors by layering
- silly critters throughout the figure's clothes
- the dots n thin vs thick lines fun to make
- dumb (affectionate) creatures inspired by animals partner & i bond over
- little pig-nosed lookin rabbit on jacket based off a sonas we have
- faves:
- white gel pen deets and highlights
- the palm star
- blue scribble of the nails on magenta hands (behind figure's head)
- same teacher had white plastic tub of prismacolor markers
- not art class, but went crazy w his markers
- took tub to my next class
- appreciate that other teacher didn't just strangle me for whipping out huge sheets of paper (/joke) (/lighthearted) and marker tub
- retrospect, wouldn't have faulted them if they told me to put it away
