New invitation system

nviting a Bluesky contact to join Bluvy Messenger is now much easier.

  • Generate an invitation link directly from any Bluesky contact profile.
  • New personalized landing page displaying the inviter's public profile (avatar, display name, and handle).
  • Automatic pre-filling of the Bluesky identifier during sign-in.
  • Automatically creates and opens an end-to-end encrypted conversation after the invited user signs in.
  • Automatic publication of a public declaration in the user's ATProto repository, allowing other clients to discover and start encrypted conversations without relying on the Bluvy server.
  • Added the new /message route, with backward compatibility for legacy invitation links.

Interface redesign

The Contacts and Conversations experience has been completely redesigned.

  • New unified sidebar combining Contacts and Conversations.
  • New contact details page with contextual actions.
  • New Profile page.
  • Simplified navigation and cleanup of the previous Contacts and Conversations pages.

Navigation and architecture

The application's routing and internal structure have been modernized.

  • Standardized and centralized application routing.
  • Added a new root redirection system.
  • Improvements to the authentication and API services.

User interface

  • Redesigned OAuth callback screen with dedicated styling.
  • Improved layout across mobile, tablet, and desktop.
  • Consistent spacing and sizing across the sign-in, contacts, conversations, synchronization, unlock, recovery, and authentication screens.

Fixes

  • Various bug fixes.
  • General stability improvements.
  • Internal optimizations and code cleanup.
