Death by a thousand cuts and the 28th Amendment

hen four (yes four!) SCOTUS justices decide that the President can just red-line the 14th Amendment with an executive order people should be literally up in arms ensuring the "security of a free State" as per the 2nd Amendment.

When officers of any branch of the government violate their oath of office and fail to uphold the literal words of the Constitution shouldn't their impeachment should be automatic? It is especially egregious when an officer of the Judicial or Executive branches do this since they are extremely powerful and hard to put in check. Meanwhile the power of any one Constitutional oath-breaker is usually diluted by dozens or hundreds of others. There should be like some Robocop that shows up their office and tells them to pack their bags and GTFO with 20 seconds to comply followed by a lifetime ban on holding government office. Oath breaking in office should be an unforgivable sin against the country.

And yes, I know it is hard to write a document that is bullet proof and not open to misinterpretation or finding loopholes someone could use to try weasel their way out of compliance. But you know what, we should just deal with that - any new loophole or "interpretation" should be put to what I call The Fourth Branch - We The People. We should by 2/3 majority of the States ratify that new interpretation - or reject it and endorse removal.

As it is what we are experience now is the end stages of the death of the United States Constitution by a thousand cuts, cuts We The People never directly supported and have no recourse to correct within most lifetimes, if ever. We are now so busy trying to deal with the onslaught of new cuts that trying to bandaid or repair previous injuries is simply off the cards. Congress is non-functional, SCOTUS is bought and paid for, and the Executive Branch has gone full Insurrection Party driving us straight over a cliff to our manifest destiny - Idiocracy. Given that government is failing so miserably we really desperately need a 28th Amendment:

"A well regulated government, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of The People to impeach and remove its members and officers, shall not be infringed."
