Exploring Your LoyalFans Timeline
Get a comprehensive look at every posting option available to you on your LoyalFans timeline.
here are so many ways you can use the LoyalFans timeline and it can be slightly overwhelming when you first start using the site. In this post, we'll walk through all the options available to you and give you some helpful tips about making all these different types of posts to your timeline.
I also highly recommend checking out the following tutorials on LoyalFans for so much more information:
The Posting Interface
On your main page, which is the timeline from your view and not your public timeline, you will see the box and icons above which will open the posting interface.
Upon clicking either the text box or the icons, you will open the full posting interface. There are a lot of options here and we'll go through each of them in detail but what you need to know is that:
- Every post needs a title - this appears in bold on your public timeline
- Every post needs a description - this is also where you'll add hashtags and links (if applicable)
The posting interface also includes this long list of things you can add to your post including photos, videos, polls and fundraising. You can add one or more of these to your posts and each one either pops up as a modal window with additional options or adds additional sections to the interface.
So let's go through the sections together.
Audience Type
The very first thing you're gonna do, ideally before you even start typing your title or description, is pick your intended audience from the drop-down beside your profile avatar. You have 3 options available to you and you can only select one:
- Public - this post and everything in it will be visible to anyone visiting your profile
- Followers - this post and everything in it will be visible to anyone who follows you and your subscribers
- Subscribers - this post and everything in it will be visible only to your subscribers. You will be able to set an unlock price that the public and your followers can pay to see this post, unless you want it to be subscriber-only
Post Labels
You can add labels to all of your posts on LoyalFans to keep your content organized. This is useful for fans who are looking for specific types of content or to keep themed posts together. For example, on my page I have labels such as Boobs, Pussy or Ass and themed labels like #SelfLoveSunday (my masturbation series). You can add emojis to decorate your labels or only use text.
Labels appear on your profile at the top of your timeline. Fans can click on them to only see posts from that label.
Browse & Media Cloud
If you've already uploaded your content, you will find it in your media cloud. Your media cloud stores all your content (except livestream recordings) in chronological order by default. If you haven't already uploaded your content, "Browse" will allow you to select content from your device.
You are able to select image, video and audio files here, however only one media type per post is allowed, so you can't post photos and videos at the same time. I have yet to reach a limitation on photo and audio posts, with up to 30 images in a single post and half an hour long audio, but video uploads do have a 10GB limit. You cannot rearrange your images once you've added them or edit any of your content once it's added.
When uploading videos, an additional modal will appear with more options. First, you'll be able to decide whether this video post will show a preview, show a single image or only show a locked screen on your timeline. Then you'll be able to select a cover photo, either one of your choosing or from frames within your video and upload a custom preview video. LoyalFans does not create a preview video for you.
A big thing to note, videos uploaded to your timeline will not be posted in your video store, just as videos added to your store will not automatically post to your timeline.
Expiring Posts
Some of us like to keep posts perpetually on our timeline and some of us like to keep things tight by expiring posts after a set period of time. How you structure your timeline is entirely up to you. You can select from the predefined number of days or you can put in your own number of days until your post will expire and no longer be visible on your timeline.
Record Audio
You can either add audio files from the "Browse" pop up, the media cloud or record right in your post interface. Once you click the Record option, you can immediately start recording your audio - ASMR, ramblefaps, moaning, etc. Once you press stop, you'll be able to see and listen to your recorded audio.
Audio recorded here is saved to your media cloud. You cannot edit it and it is not automatically added to your audio store, although you can add it to your store later from your media cloud.
Price for Non-Subscribers
Allowing fans who aren't subscribed to unlock posts is a great way to earn passive income on your timeline. Your post will be visible to subscribers and followers or the public will be able to pay to unlock the post.
Schedule Posts
You are able to schedule your posts in advance either from the posting interface or from your content scheduler. We've tested going years in advance with no issue. You will select the date and time that you want your post to publish and it will appear on your content scheduler.
Polls
Creating polls is a fabulous way to find out what you're audience wants to see and engage your community. You will ask your question, such as "What video should I post next?" in your title or description. Your poll can have up to 20 different options and you will be able to select how long users can vote in your poll based on the predefined options - No limit, 1 day, 5 days or 30 days.
Fundraising
You can ask for tips on individual posts. First you will select your overall target amount which must be a minimum of $10. Users can then tip any amount or select from up to 5 "fast options" that you get to choose.
Share & Disable Comments
Finally, you can choose to disable comments on your post and share your post to Twitter/X. The image above shows a preview of what would be posted to Twitter - your post title, a link and the #realloyalfans hashtag.
In conclusion:
As you can see, there are so many posting options on LoyalFans! Each adds interest on your page and can increase your earning potential. Some you will find yourself using constantly and some you might only use every once and awhile. Experiment with them all and see which ones your fans respond to.
