[Theme Song]
Hey there! Welcome to the Valerie Rayne Show, an adults-only not-safe-for-work "podcast" filled with sex and stories from a professional masturbator and adult content creator. Listener discretion is advised!
I'm Valerie Rayne, a 39-year-old wannabe kinkster, blog-a-holic, mom of six and adult content creator and in episode 3 of The Valerie Rayne Show, we'll be looking into the past and talking about my almost decade long content creation journey - how it got started, what it includes and how it's evolved over the years. I imagine this will be a topic we revisit from time to time, so if there's ever anything you'd like me to cover more in-depth, please reach out and let me know.
As always, I invite you to engage and interact with me and my content on any platforms you follow me on and highly encourage you to check me out on BlueSky, @valerierayne13, to get all my sexy thoughts and content updates in real time.
We have to go back to the very beginning, my sexual awakening, as it were. This is where it all began. I was about six years old and was constantly demanding that my Mom needed to tell me all about sex. I was desperate to know what it was and how it worked. After weeks of begging, she sat me down at the kitchen table with a piece of paper and began drawing fallopian tubes and vas deferens, explaining the intricacies of how two people had sex and made babies. She thought if I had the answers, I'd stop asking. Instead, I became ever more curious and thus began my lifelong obsession with sexuality.
At 11, I watched my very first porn. My cousins, siblings and I had all snuck into my aunts box of VHS' on one of those bingo nights I told you about previously. The movie was called something like "Anal Explorers" and I vividly remember explaining to the room that I was going to do that when I grew up - not the anal necessarily but the performing sex on camera. I was utterly fascinated.
At 14, I began religiously watching the Showcase programming, Friday Without Borders. My favorite show, KINK, spurred my interest in BDSM and Webcam Diaries had me itching to turn 18 so I could get on camera! Maybe not surprisingly, this is also when I started having sex and while I was often conflicted about disobeying my Mom, I was always seeking out new experiences and ways of exploring my budding sexuality.
When I was in my early 20s, I began blogging frequently. I was in the midst of motherhood and ending an abusive relationship and starting a new relationship and all the struggles that came with all those things. And while blogging started as a way for me to just vent about life, it quickly became the place where I would rant about my sexual frustrations. I have a tendency to date very vanilla men with, in my view, very low sex drives. I wanted daily sex and kinky play and they didn't and I was really upset about it! I also wanted to show off and make videos and they were far less interested - however, I could convince The Boyfriend to take foot photos every once and awhile that I would then post to FetLife, dipping my toes into the burgeoning world of adult content creation (pun very much intended)!
During this time, I also started writing erotica and created a few online communities for other erotic writers. I randomly wrote and published a book of erotic limericks (but shhh, it's a secret) and regularly published short erotic stories. To this day, I continue to write erotica very randomly and even create writing prompts for erotic writers.
When I was 31, The Boyfriend and I both finally had smartphones. We decided to go for a walk at one of our favorite trails and I was in quite the mood. As we were walking, I would randomly flash him or hike up my long skirt and the whole walk was full of playful flirting. I don't know what it was about this day but he joined in and whipped out his phone and started taking pictures. Then he pulled me down a trail of bushes and flung me over a tree and made a quickie video of him fucking me from behind. We rode the high of this couple of hours of exhibitionism for the whole rest of the day!
When nightfall came and the videos and photos had been reminisced on, I asked what he would think if I added the short 11-second clip to Pornhub. Back then, there was no age verification, no co-creator documentation, no real barriers to entry; it was just make a profile and upload and you're done. When the idea excited him as much as it had me, I didn't hesitate for one second and within minutes, we were officially live. The exhibitionist high lasted for weeks!!!
Over the next few years, we would regularly record our sexual escapades and sporadically release them on Pornhub. We had made a deal that our Pornhub was specifically a couples only account, so I could release solo stuff there but only if it were things we were exploring together - for example, if he had told me to use my dildo, that counted as exploring together. I also continued blogging heavily about our sexperiences during this time.
Three years later, The Boyfriend basically decided he was no longer interested in making content. It wasn't really a conscious decision, life just epically got in the way. Baby #6 was born and life blew up! Covid hit, she was diagnosed with a rare kidney condition, I threw post c-section blood clots in my legs, he had to step down from his management position at work - everything went to hell. But he knew that my little exhibitionist heart had been opened and that was a Pandora's box that would never be closed.
And this is when I, in my opinion, officially became a solo adult content creator. It was no longer a hobby or just a fun little thing I did randomly. I began signing up on sites like LoyalFans and OnlyFans, making and uploading content semi-regularly and began my weekly masturbation series, #SelfLoveSunday. The rest, as they say, is history!
Some clarification: I call myself an adult content creator, as opposed to a sex worker or a porn actress or a model, because I make so many types of content intended for an adult audience - writing fiction and non-fiction, photos and videos, audio - it's more than just porn or erotica, it's all the content dealing with various aspects of sexuality!
As you can see, my adult content creation journey has been chaotic and all over the place and vast and ever-evolving. I still haven't even begun creating the content I really want to make and I'm looking forward to many more years of erotically-charged creative exploits.
Well folks, that's all for this episode of The Valerie Rayne Show. Thanks so much for listening and I hope you enjoyed!
