drew this one quite a few years ago. As you know, I like to draw Zilla, but I also love the traditional Japanese art of woodblock printing, known as ukiyo-e. I tried to bring some of that feel, along with the traditional colour palette to this one. I highly recommend looking up Kawase Hasui, Utagawa Hiroshige, and Yoshida Hiroshi if you want to explore woodblock printing masters beyond the very well known Hokusai.
Inked with brush and ink, and coloured with watercolour paint on smooth “hot press” watercolour paper.
