Clear Creek Trail

n early March 2026, the Jefferson County (JeffCo) Parks and Open Space website indicated that the Peaks to Plains Trail had been renamed to the Clear Creek Trail.
Currently there are two main segments open on the Clear Creek Trail. The first is between the town of Golden and the CCR trailhead. The second is between the Big Easy and Oxbow/Tunnel 5 trailheads. This miniblog is a record of various hiking trips along the segments.
