Made a demo video, found more similar, but closed-data, websites, moving forward with my specific vision
rogress: Recorded, edited, and finalized the project demo video. Discovered a couple of existing platforms doing similar work; while their datasets are closed, seeing that they target the exact same Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) data validated the project's value and re-energized the commitment to an open-data approach.
Struggle: Battling perfectionism during the video creation process. Strongly tempted to completely re-record a second version, but ultimately chose to accept the first draft as a solid progress marker in order to keep momentum moving forward.
Plan: Take the weekend to rest and recharge (or maybe still hack on stuff 😁). Heading into next week, run a few quick remaining extraction tests on the water reports and keep pushing the open-data pipeline forward.
