what if instead of replying with three separate posts I had just replied with one unthread? 🤔

for deleted accounts: deletion is permanent and irreversible, so I agree the follow record should be "cleaned up" because that account can never come back

but for accounts that are suspended, how do you distinguish between temporary and permanent suspensions?

I don't think follow records that point to an account that has been temporarily suspended (e.g. for 3 days) should be removed, so maybe removing follow records after some timeframe like 30 days would make sense (I don't know what the longest temporary suspension given out is)

although... what about people who use multiple appviews? just because someone is suspended from one appview, it doesn't mean that follow wouldn't make sense to keep if the person is still active on another appview
