„Bis wann willst du in Rostock sein?“, fragt der Wortführer der drei Herren, die Bier trinkend an der Fähre in Barby sitzen.
„Heute Nacht, sechs Uhr. Sind noch 280 Kilometer.“
„Mit dem Fahrrad?“. Ich sehe, wie drei Gesichter entgleisen.
„Ich weiß. Ist ein bisschen dumm“, antworte ich. Denn genau das ist nach bereits 100 absolvierten Kilometern der Plan.
Aber gehen wir zum Anfang. Am Beginn dieser Geschichte steht nämlich ein MINI in Schweden.
Das Auto meines Schwagers, der vor 20 Jahren ausgewandert ist. Sein Auto, das Kind3 hier nun – nach hoffentlich bald bestandener Führerscheinprüfung – künftig fahren darf. Einziges Problem: jemand musste den MINI aus Schweden abholen. Jemand mit einem bereits gültigen Führerschein. Und der war eben ich.
