A pretty fun episode conceptually: what if all the adults in a small town were secretly baby sacrificing Devil worshippers and not the metal head high schoolers? The episode handles the subject matter pretty well and generally pretty playfully, except that I think it stumbles a bit by adding the child sexual abuse element to the step daughter's flashbacks. I think that added a kinda sour note to the whole episode that held it back from really excelling. But an enjoyable episode overall, with some really well done shots of Mulder and the step dad in the basement.
