While this episode had two separate, pretty cool action sequences, overall it felt like nothing really happened, outside of the writing seeming to revel in its more juvenile nature. Trevor Belmont is now clearly established as essentially an unstoppable killing machine, leading to his fights having no sense of lethality in the slightest. The show gets to rail against Christianity and religion some more, with Trevor being the mouthpiece for some anti-Church talking points that unfortunately get a bit spoiled by the weaker writing and the dialogue being peppered with a lot of adolescent swearing. Overall, the most "described as for adult audiences but is actually written for teenagers" episode yet, hoping the writing and the critique get a bit more nuanced moving forward.
