This was a good episode, another classic “nothing happens and everybody just stands around talking” entry. Here the show really first brings up the Guild of Calamitous Intent, this universe’s super villain and hero management organization (and the very concept of there being rules and handbooks for villain/hero relationships), with the Monarch having to awkwardly host Hank and Brock at his hideout being a fun introduction to the whole setup. By this point in the show I’d say the Monarch's endeared himself pretty well to the audience, with him, Dr. Girlfriend, and the henchmen all being fun to watch bounce off each other this episode.
