This episode was alright, the concept of a super scientist having a yard sale of all their wacky inventions, only for a bunch of super villains to show up and peruse the tables is fun, but in execution it ended feeling little lacking and limp; for example, I enjoyed getting to see all the different costumed customers and trying to guess their names and gimmicks, but I felt the focus on the Monarch and Dr. Girlfriend and their marital bickering for most of the episode ended up dragging the whole thing a bit - the Monarch parts aren't bad, they're just not great either. I guess knowing how relevant Dr. Girlfriend and the Phantom Limb’s past relationship is to the future of the series, it's notable to hear their previous partnership first (?) mentioned in this episode, but it really doesn’t feel much more than mentioned. I will say, the episode having Brock and all the secret agents running around at high alert guarding a yard sale with their lives was pretty funny.
