Mansions Dave and the bias of showrunning a mainstream Show

We all know Seth McFarlane uses Family Guy as a placebo to express his own thoughts

It's hard not to when you have an Adult Animated Sitcom that's not only watched all over the Country but has become a cultural reference point

That means your Adult Animated Sitcom becomes a yard stick for American Culture outside of the United States, seeing how well somebody gets references from your Sitcom becomes a reference to how well somebody understands American Culture

Look at how vehemently Trey Parker and Matt Stone devolved South Park, it went from a Show with it's own lore to a crude commentary on current events to shock value commentary on politics

Do you know what's the worst part to all of this, that total indignance to the utter belief that this left wing - right wing political rift is something classy

They're completely unaware that this is a byproduct of a developed nation, alongside Galapagos Syndrome, Cultural Myopia and Cancel Culture and it exists in nearly all East Asian Countries and Regions too

That's right, even Americans, get looked down upon, but that doesn't fit their self narrative, so they choose to conveniently meander around that fact

You're probably wondering why China, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan and arguably Vietnam and Sakhalin have the gall to look down on the rest of the world

Well they're doing it for the exact same reasons that the Americans are doing it, so if you're confused as to why they're doing it and completely fine with just the Americans doing it then you're a bigot

So moving back to the point, Seth McFarlane has used Family Guy to express his opinion on the whole Racially Accurate Casting farce

So basically Seth McFarlane's opinion is Racially Accurate Casting is not important and that the Character itself should be changed if needed to fit the Actor assigned to playing it

Seth McFarlane basically said that the Gender, Age and Ethnicity of the Character in the Script is not important and that Casting has to take an Actor first approach

So we know that Seth McFarlane is an avid aficionado of Classic Hollywood and genuinely loves every facet there is to film making from casting to screenplay so you can't just dismiss his take as a bad take, you have to take his background into consideration

Let's not forget that's not just Seth McFarlane's take, that was basically a retroactive explanation of the thought process behind Classic Hollywood which really showcases Seth McFarlane's expertise on the matter

So basically Classic Hollywood prioritized getting a good Actor on the Role as opposed to accurately casting that Role

Here's my take, that's a pathetic excuse

We know that making it in Hollywood actually has nothing to do with genuine Thespian ability

Being a successful Actor is raw sex appeal, genuine comedic ability and innate star power/ pre existing clout all rolled into one

So there is no genuine acting ability taken into consideration if the context is becoming successful in Hollywood, we all know that, but proponents of Classic Hollywood will cite just that, the superceding need to get a good Thespian as opposed to racially accurately casting a Character

The entire argument is therefore invalid

So what actually was happening? if we all tacitly knew that it's not actually about acting ability then why was Hollywood always reluctant to racially accurately cast Characters?

Well it's rather simple and it convergences with the overall reason that Classical Hollywood was monoracial, it was made by a certain ethnicity for a certain ethnicity
