To recap: The Clippers mortgaged the future in the form of six first round draft picks and a future 2X regular season and 1X finals MVP to trade for Paul George, which was a prerequisite to signing Kawhi Leonard. In the following six seasons, the Clippers won one playoff series, and both Messrs. Leonard and George were hurt often. Now the Clippers will be paying for the trade into the 2030s. Only the Clippers can make signing someone who was a top 3-5 player in the NBA at the time into possibly the worst signing in NBA history. Bravo. I am in awe.
