like short stories, but not when written by my favorite writer of novels, apparently. The writing, great. The characters, compelling. But I find myself disappointed that we don’t get the depth of story with the Sketches. I think it’s why I prefer a 6+ season TV show to a movie. I crave the detail and the depth.
