For some, I'm sure it's hard to believe that there was once life on Roanoke Avenue. Sometimes, I find it difficult, myself, and I lived through it. But there was.

I don't know when it finally closed for good, but I can almost remember how Halifax Farmers Supply smelled - a mix of herbicides, pesticides, cigarettes, two-stroke oil, liniment, and garden tools.
