atterns:
- Cat With Red Fish by Henri Matisse by Cross Stitch Obsession
- Ophelia by John Everett Millais by Cross Stitch Obsession
- The Unicorn Rests in a Garden, but pattern has no credit
- Wanderer above the Sea of Fog by Caspar David Friedrich, but pattern also has no credit
I have collected cross stitch patterns through so many years that I don't remember where I got every pattern. I wish I did, though, because the Unicorn and the Wanderer patterns are beautiful.
I really like the mini paintings. They're satisfying to complete. The confetti on some of the patterns is really evident in the backs though.
These also helped me test out some ergonomic updates. Between all of my repetitive motion crafts, my hands need the care:
- Cleaner backs mean I have to force the needles through less thread
- Hoops allow me to use a stand, which saves my hand from squeezing the hoop
- Softer fabric is easier to use hoops with, so I should see about pre-washing the fabric I have, even though I precut most of it
