A Walk through Taito Ward, Tokyo
In late June 2018, I had the opportunity to do a photo walk with Tokyo-based Alfie Goodrich, one of the leading Western photographers in Japan.
he walk took us along a route through Tokyo’s Taito Ward. I shot 3 rolls of medium-format black & white film on my Mamiya 6 — this gallery shows all resulting 36 pictures in chronological order.
Alfie has since become a friend and mentor, and now that we both live in Tokyo, there’s regular opportunities to go shooting together.
