Itabashi-juku Evening Panoramas, Tokyo, Japan
On the way home from work this Monday, I took some panoramic photos along Itabashi-juku, a shopping street tracing the old Nakasendō route.
hotos are presented in chronological order of taking.
Kanmyoji (観明寺) is a quiet local temple located on the eastern side of Itabashi-juku.
There's still a fair amount of old stores open along this road, such as the Araiya liquor store.
Moving in western direction and passing a few more shops, including a café (the corner building with the blue-green awning).
On the western end of Itabashi-juku, a crossing leads right into Nakajuku, a long and popular neighborhood shopping street.
Shot with 65x24 app on iPhone 15 Pro. Adjusted for alignment and contrast in iOS Photos app.
