Naked Warrior Yoga is fighting to stay in the heart of West Hollywood

The human form is a beautiful thing, with so much of West Hollywood being dedicated to celebrating the bodies of its many inhabitants.

Well…mostly. Because while WeHo is filled with go-go boys, scintillating billboards, and half-naked men in clubs, the gay community doesn’t have the best record when it comes to physical positivity. This culture still struggles with constant body shaming, a harmful, pervasive rhetoric that has led to gay men facing high rates of disordered eating and dysmorphia. This is particularly painful to see when there are countless people in this country already telling our community that we’re wrong, with so many of our own folks perpetuating this shame within their own minds. That’s why it’s more important than ever for queer men to appreciate and love their bodies, with West Hollywood’s Naked Warrior Yoga (NWY) working every day to help them do just that.
