It was a few weeks ago. I was making a baked rigatoni dish for dinner and wanted something to break up the meal a bit. I added a simple bagged garden salad. It was pre-prepared. Pre-washed. I thought everything would be ok.

I’ve had the shits for a few weeks now. I’d been assuming it was because I’ve been being less careful about my allergens, it’s hard to avoid every latex cross-reactive food, sometimes I don’t care and eat something that I know will make me sick because I’ve deemed the consequence acceptable.

I was listening to the radio earlier, KUNM NPR. They had a couple folks on talking about cyclospora, what it does, where it comes from. I think I’ve got it. I’d be the first recorded case in my state if I do, but like, it’s the same symptoms. So like. What now?

I guess I’ve gotta reach out to my pcp.

I don’t even fucking like lettuce. This was my first iceberg salad in years.
