I graduated high school in 1987. At that time, I didn't really want to go right into more school and hadn't even made the usual overtures toward doing that like taking the SAT and ACT etc. because I knew my family couldn't afford for me to go to college anyway. In retrospect, I was also burned out. I just wanted to be able to sleep in and not have anything to do for a while.
