I think we all by now understand that AI (artificial intelligence) is not the solution when it comes to understanding humans. It often makes errors, and when you combine those errors with a deadly police force, it's a recipe for disaster. Flock is advertised as safety! They appeal to law enforcement by falsely claiming that it reduces crime. Nationwide crime rates have already been on the decline. Their systems have capabilities to integrate with already established security cameras.
Officers must list the law being violated, provide a case number, and explain the suspicion tied to a specific vehicle or plate. Limit use only to suspected felonies. A warrant should be required for searches. Warrant exceptions: imminent threats to life, hot pursuit of a violent suspect. All non-warrant searches should be logged and flagged. The use of technology that identifies individuals by their face, body, etc., should be prohibited.
