Rozi Coffee is in Shin-Okubo - a cafe hotspot I am yet to mention on this blog. It's the station next to Shinjuku on the Yamanote line, and is most famous for being Tokyo's Koreatown.
National Crafts Museum, Kanazawa
Aug 4, 2026
To break up our long drive back to Tokyo from Mt Haku, we decided to stop off at Kanazawa's National Crafts Museum. Actually i've never visited Kanazawa - my only impression of it had been that huge structure that lives outside Kanazawa's train station.

Coffee Counter Nishiya, Asakusa
Jul 25, 2026
On a recent weekend we found ourselves back in Kuramae to check out another of its many coffee stores - Coffee Counter Nishiya. This one came at the recommendation of a barista from another coffee store we had visited, so we were sure it wouldn't disappoint (and it didn't!)

Ammonite Coffee Market, Hongo
Jul 23, 2026
Ammonite Coffee is a roaster and cafe that sits a short walk away from the University of Tokyo campus in Hongo. Maybe it's because of the location, but it had probably the most reasonable price I have ever seen in Tokyo for a decent cup of pourover coffee - only 600 yen.
