On June 29, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in Watson v. RNC that federal Election Day laws do not prevent states from counting mail ballots after Election Day when state law allows a grace period and the ballot is postmarked by Election Day. Nothing has changed for voters in Michigan. Eligible Michigan voters can still vote by mail under current state law, and voters should request and return absentee ballots as early as possible.Announcements·Mail-in Voting
