WSocial could change everything
In early 2026, the European Union announced its own Twitter-like platform called WSocial. The most surprising part is that it is expected to be a fork of Bluesky and to run on ATProto. For now, we have very little information. The beta is expected to start sometime in March, with a public launch planned for the end of the year. The potential is huge. If it runs properly on ATProto, it could interoperate with users already on Bluesky (more than 40 million). That would instantly populate our timel...decentralized social medias
