Play To Clinch: August 14th Update Playthrough
Even though I build a college tennis sim, what I really ever wanted was a high school tennis sim but college tennis is what happened because all of the basketball PC sims made it an easier mental model to develop. The biggest college adaptation is the format. College rosters are among the smallest of any sport and I thought without the real world contraints, why not expand it? So now it's different. D1: 10 SINGLES / 5 DOUBLES (for 1 point) = 11 points D2 & D3: 8 SINGLES / 3 DOUBLES = 11 points D...

Play To Clinch Tennis Ep. 3 Playthrough
I made a few improvements to the tennis sim that are all just clerical or UI improvements. The national tournaments are now seeded where the Top 16 teams are placed regardless of division. i I also added an archive for past singles/doubles national champions since previously, you could only see the past year's results and they got erased upon a new season. I did this because my last sim was taking over a Monmouth (IL) program that blew through D3 en route to a national title, but then everyone l...

Playthrough #2
Okay so it's fall portal time and I need to decide who I want to bolster in the D1 ranks. It would be easier to bring a bunch of 50+ STR players, take over a doormat D1 program and start running up wins and make NCAA tournaments, but I think that'd just be a race towards figuring out the deal to crack into the upper echelons of things, which will be a fun challenge when I get there. What I'd like to do first, at least for a season or two, is become a dominant conference power first. The trick to...
