Quick Review: The Creator (2023)

A visually stunning retread of the ground Blade Runner walked, albeit it less subtle, and with messier politics. It does feel a little uncanny to have 'AI' thrown around the script so much, given how popular conception and understanding of the term 'AI' has changed since the film's release.

Quick Review: The Invite (2026)

An incredibly tight, sharply put together black comedy about the inherent misery of being in a straight relationship. The writing is witty, the performances are brilliant, and the direction is on point. At times, it almost felt like I was watching a play, it was enrapturing.
